MANILA, 2 April 2012 – NEC Philippines, Inc (“NEC Philippines”), a wholly owned subsidiary of NEC Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, announced today that Mr Kiyofumi Kusaka will lead the company as its President, with effect from today. Mr Kusaka is concurrently the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NEC Asia Pacific, heading the regional headquarters for NEC Corporation in the Asia Pacific region.
Mr Kusaka takes over from Mr Takuo Shioda, who will be transferred to NEC Hong Kong.
Incorporated in 1996, NEC Philippines was merged with NEC Corporation Manila Branch on 1 April 2010, to provide a complete suite of IT and networking solutions such as telecommunications, IT platform, unified communications, biometrics, and retail solutions to meet the changing needs of the Filipino market.
