SINGAPORE, April 27, 2012 – NEC STEE Cloud Services (NSCS), a joint venture company between NEC Asia Pacific (NEC APAC) and ST Electronics (Info-Software Systems) has commissioned its data center for cloud services in Singapore.

Leveraging the combined technological strengths of Japan's NEC and Singapore's ST Electronics (Info-Software Systems), this is the first data center in Southeast Asia and is located in Singapore to kick-start the cloud business in the Asia Pacific region.

NSCS will deploy regional service network that provides businesses with high quality Cloud services regardless of location. The data center features base systems for providing services that are built from system models - utilizing a combination of specialized hardware products, operating systems and middleware.

NSCS offers a comprehensive suite of end-to-end Cloud-based solutions such as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), secured applications, support services and infrastructure to both public and enterprise institutions in Singapore and other ASEAN countries. Since its establishment in July 2011, several private enterprises and government agencies have adopted NSCS' Cloud services and solutions, to benefit from lower operating costs and shorter time to market by outsourcing their requirements to NSCS.
